Mortise locks
Lock case is mounted into the door. A lock cylinder, doorknob or handle are mounted unto the lock case. Things to consider when choosing a lock case:
- Do you need it for a flat panel or a narrow profile door? The panel of a flat panel door is made entirely of wood or metal, sometimes there is a small window in the door. Profile door is made of metal profile and glass. Different products are used on these doors.
- Do you prefer your lock to open mechanically or electrically?
