November 2011 Luku-Expert has 19 years of locking experience.

March 2010  Luku-Expert was awarded with recognition EFQM Excellence Award 2009.

May 2009 Luku-Expert Tallinn celebrated its 15th anniversary.

 

December 2008 Luku-Expert Viljandi celebrated its 10th anniversary.

 

May 2007 Luku-Expert Pärnu celebrated its 10th anniversary.

 

May 2006 Arafea Group Ltd and Luku-Expert Ltd were merged. The new legal name of the company is Luku-Expert Ltd.

 

January 2006 Luku-Expert Viljandi became an ABLOY authorized dealer.

 
October 2005 The inauguration of the Luku-Expert House was celebrated grandly, preceded by a procession of the more well-known lock companies of Estonia.

August 2005 Luku-Expert opened the doors of its new office building and store. Latin proverb “Non Vi Sed Arte” – “Not with force but with skill” in front of the building conveys the principles of the company.

 

November 26, 2004 The construction of our new office started. The new building will contain our office, retail store, warehouse, wholesale and installation department.

2000 We were one of the founding members who established the Estonian Locksmith Association.

1999 The fourth store was opened in Tallinn, at Tartu Road 39, now already under the new name Luku-Expert.

1999 The need arose to change the already slightly outdated name Lock and Key Shop (Luku- ja Võtmeäri). The new name "Luku-Expert" was registered as a trademark. The new name and image have helped us to achieve the goals of our company – to operate as the provider of high quality solutions in locking through our professional service.

 

1998 Our third Lock and Key Shop was opened in Viljandi, at the CENTRUM business centre. Lock and Key Shop in Pärnu became an ABLOY authorized dealer.

 

Spring 1997 We opened our second Lock and Key shop in Pärnu, at the shopping centre Port Artur I.

 

1996 We became a member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 

1995 We joined the European Locksmith Federation (ELF). Through ELF we have participated in several educational conferences and have received high level trainings on opening locks, safes and car locks.

We became the ABLOY authorized dealer and service provider. This authorization enhanced considerably the confidence of our customers, since it was known that as a prerequisite to that we had to pass the necessary vocational trainings.

 

May 1994 We opened our first shop "Luku- ja Võtmeäri" (Lock and Key Shop) in Tallinn, Tartu Road. 37, which was the first of its kind in Estonia. Besides consultation and locks, we provide our customers with whole service packages related to locks - installation, maintenance, repairs, opening service and making of car and home keys, in addition we design locking systems.

 

November 18, 1992 Locksmith company Arafea Ltd was established based on native capital.
